BATON ROUGE, La. – Georgia Tech senior diver Stephanie England won the platform diving event Sunday in the final day of action at the LSU Invitational. England, who also won the three-meter event on Saturday, was going up against two of the top diving programs in the country in LSU and Auburn.
England edged out LSU’s Paige Brown 238.25-236.55 to win the platform event. She posted scores of 42.00, 49.60, 54.00, 47.85 and 44.80 in her five dives.
On the men’s side, Evan Stowers came in fourth with a combined score of 294.45. He posted scores of 58.50, 40.00, 42.05, 59.20, 52.70 and 42.00 in his dives.
