Robbie Bell returned to Georgia Tech in 2026 for his second stint as an offensive quality control assistant, working with the Yellow Jackets' offensive linemen.
Bell came back to The Flats after spending the 2025 season as tight ends coach at Sacramento State. In his lone season at Sac State, Bell's tight ends helped pave the way for the Hornets to rush for 262.6 yards per game, which ranked second in NCAA Division I FCS. Sac State's TEs also caught a pair of touchdowns under Bell's tutelage.
Bell went to Sac State after his first season at Georgia Tech in 2024. During his first campaign with the Yellow Jackets, he assisted with an offensive front that allowed the third-fewest sacks in the nation (0.69/game), as well as ranking second in the ACC in rushing (187.0 ypg).
Bell began his coaching career as a quality control coach at Eastern Kentucky in 2022.
As a player, Bell was a two-year starter on the offensive line at Louisville, starting all 13 games at center in 2017 and all 13 games at right guard in 2019.
A Hoschton, Ga. native (Mill Creek H.S.), Bell graduated from Louisville with a bachelor's degree in political science.
