Nick Achors joined Georgia Tech athletics as assistant director of facilities and events in 2024.
Prior to his arrival on The Flats, Achors spent nearly three years as a member of the facilities and events management staff at his alma mater, UCF, first as a student worker (2021-22), then as a postgraduate intern (2022) before being promoted to an assistant role in November 2022.
At UCF, he served as a facility and event manager for men’s soccer and track and field, as a game manager for men’s and women’s soccer and volleyball and assisted in operations for football, baseball and softball. He also assisted with operations for the 2022 American Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer Championship and the 2023 NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament.
His professional experience also includes serving as combine manager for Tropical 7s Rugby in Tampa, Fla. in 2023.
Achors graduated from UCF with a bachelor’s degree in business management in 2023.
