Lauryn M. Harris joined the Georgia Tech Athletic Association in June 2023 as an academic advisor for football. She was promoted to assistant director in January 2025 and currently oversees academic support for defensive football players and leads academic initiatives for all freshmen.
During her time at Georgia Tech, she has also taken a leadership role in coordinating psychoeducational testing and collaborating with others to enhance student-athlete success.
Prior to her arrival on The Flats, Harris began her career at Mercer University as a student-athlete support specialist, advising six Division I teams and ensuring NCAA eligibility.
A native of Lawrenceville, Ga., Harris earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in criminal justice from Mercer in 2022 and her M.B.A. in 2023. She is passionate about student development, academic excellence and preparing athletes for life beyond sports.
