Ken Edwards was promoted to an assistant equipment manager in January 2017 after joining the Georgia Tech Athletic Association in August 2016 as an intern in the equipment office.
Prior to coming to The Flats, Edwards was an equipment intern at nearby Georgia State University where he is completing his bachelor’s degree. He was also a student manager for the football program for four years after transferring to GSU from the University of North Georgia.
An Atlanta native, Edwards went to high school at Hebron Christian Academy where was a three-sport athlete lettering in football, basketball and baseball.
