Jason Moore, a former walk-on who went on to play 47 games as a key contributor for Georgia Tech's defensive line, has transitioned to the Yellow Jackets' coaching staff as a defensive quality control assistant.
Moore arrived at Tech as a walk-on in 2020 and, after not see game action in either of his first two seasons with the Jackets (2021-22), appeared in 47 contests as a reserve defensive tackle over his final four seasons on The Flats (2022-25). He recorded 41 tackles as a Yellow Jacket, with 22 coming as a fifth-year senior in 2025.
A Hampton, Ga. native (Dutchtown H.S.), Moore holds two degrees from Georgia Tech -- a bachelor's in business administration (December 2023) and a master's in analytics (May 2025). He was an all-ACC academic team selection and a member of the conference's academic honor roll.
