Eldon Lindsay joined Georgia Tech’s athletics staff in February 2023 as assistant athletics director for creative & digital strategy. In his role, Lindsay oversees the Yellow Jackets’ brand management, athletic licensing, creative services and social media.
Lindsay came to The Flats from Cornell, where he served as director of creative services for five years (2018-23). At Cornell, he managed creative content for the Big Red’s 37 varsity sports. His responsibilities included the creation of video and photo content, and management of the athletics department’s central social media assets and visual identity strategies.
His background in sports also includes stints with a pair of professional baseball clubs, serving as creative services manager for the Omaha Storm Chasers (triple-A affiliate of the Kansas City Royals) from 2009-10 and photographer/videographer for the Iowa Cubs (AAA – Chicago Cubs) in 2008.
In addition to his experience in sports, Lindsay has also served as a photographer, photo editor and video editor for a wide variety of publications and organizations, including the Iowa Falls Times-Citizen, the Northwest Iowa Review, American Legion Magazine, and Angie’s List. He is a current NACDA/NACMA member; has been a member of the University Photographers’ Association of America (UPAA) since 2018; is a member of ICLA, serving on the Education Committee; was in the first cohort of the Georgia Tech Athletic Association’s Emerging Leaders group; and is also a core member of the GTAA DEI Huddle.
Lindsay attended Western Kentucky and Grand View (Iowa) University, earning a bachelor’s degree in communications with a photography emphasis from Grand View. He and his wife, Diann, are avid travelers and enjoy attending concerts and live sporting events.
