Spaces Still Available for MaChelle Joseph Basketball Camps

June 5, 2006

ATLANTA – The beginning of the 2006 MaChelle Joseph Basketball Camps is less than a week away, and there are limited spaces still remaining for those interested in attending this summer.

The Elite Camp, which begins June 8 and continues through the 10th, has just 15 spaces available, and is open to all high school females. The camp is geared towards advanced players that are preparing for the next level and all participants receive intense, individualized instructions from college coaches and players in the camper’s preferred position. All attendees will also receive information on weight training and nutrition, as well as NCAA rules.

Following the Elite Camp are two sessions of Day Camps, which target players between the ages of seven and 17. The first set of day camps is June 12-15, while the second begins on July 24 and concludes July 27. The focus of day camps is on the fundamentals of basketball through station work and competition.

The program will conclude the summer camps with Overnight Camp July 27-30 and Position Camp August 1-2. In the Overnight Camp, participants from the ages of 9-17 focus on the fundamentals of basketball and are divided by age and skill level while the Position Camp’s focus is on the participant’s preferred position and includes station work, competition and strength and conditioning information.
