Softball Rained Out On Opening Day Of NFCA Leadoff Classic

COLUMBUS, Ga. – The Georgia Tech Softball team had its games against Louisiana-Lafayette and LSU rained out Friday night on the opening day of the NFCA Leadoff Classic. After a nearly three-hour rain delay, officials canceled the final two games of the day around 7 p.m.

The NFCA Leadoff Classic continues on Saturday, Feb. 28, as Georgia Tech will take on Illinois State at 11:00 a.m. and then No. 18/17 Northwestern at 4:00 p.m. The weekend concludes at 10:00 a.m. Sunday morning when Georgia Tech and Penn State will tangle.
