Snoddy Named Co-ACC Performer Of The Week

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech track and field junior Broderick Snoddy and NC State senior Andrew Colley have been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Track and Field Co-Performers of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.

Snoddy posted a pair of national top-10 times during last weekend’s Yellow Jacket Invitational. The Carrollton, Ga., native captured the men’s 100 meters with a personal-best time of 10.28, 10th-best nationally so far this outdoor season.

He set another career-best time in the 200 meters, finishing second in 20.70, which is the fastest time in the ACC so far and ranks seventh nationally.

The Yellow Jackets continue their outdoor season this weekend when they split up to compete in two meets Friday and Saturday – the Tiger Track Classic in Auburn, Ala. and the Pepsi Florida Relays in Gainesville, Fla.
