Sept. 12, 2013
ATLANTA – Georgia Tech’s single-game tickets to home games against both ACC newcomers — Syracuse (Oct. 19) and Pittsburgh (Nov. 2) – as well as the non-conference tilt vs. Alabama A&M (Nov. 23) go on sale to the general public for the first time on Friday.
Tickets to every remaining home game, with the exception of the regular season finale against Georgia, will be available for purchase on RamblinWreck.com, in person at the Georgia Tech ticket office, or by calling 1-888-TECH-TIX.
Syracuse and Pittsburgh come to Atlanta for the first time as members of the ACC. The game against Syracuse will be the first meeting between the two teams since 2004, and the first ever meeting in Atlanta. The Pittsburgh game – Tech’s 2013 Homecoming game – will mark the first meeting between the Yellow Jackets and Panthers since 1976.
Georgia Tech’s game against Alabama A&M will be the Yellow Jackets’ first-ever game against a member of the SWAC.
Tickets to these three games were first offered to season ticket holders and later to Georgia Tech contributors, alumni and families of students earlier this week. Tickets, which start at $25, are available to the general public for the first time on Friday.
Tickets to the game against rival Georgia can be purchased two ways – by purchasing season tickets (which remain on sale through next week) or by purchasing the Triple-Option Package, which is a ticket to the Georgia game and two other games of choice.
Season ticket-holders have been provided an opportunity to purchase additional Georgia tickets, but only a limited number remain for the annual post-Thanksgiving game against the Bulldogs.
Georgia Tech’s next home game is Sept. 21 against Coastal Division rival North Carolina. Family Packs, which include three tickets, three hot dogs and three sodas for $75, are available for the UNC game.
