Schedule Changes Announced for Tech-NC State Baseball Series This Weekend

April 26, 2004

ATLANTA – The Atlantic Coast Conference baseball series between Georgia Tech and NC State scheduled for this coming Friday, Saturday and Sunday in Raleigh has been changed to a Saturday-Sunday series. The change was prompted by conflicts with Georgia Tech’s exam schedule, which runs through Friday. NC State’s exams begin that Monday, forcing the two teams to play three games in two days.

The Yellow Jackets and Wolfpack now are scheduled to play a doubleheader on Saturday, May 1, beginning at 2 p.m. at Doak Field. The second game will start approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. The two clubs will wrap up the series as scheduled on Sunday, May 2, starting at 2 p.m.
