2023 (Redshirt Sophomore): Played in all 13 games and started 10 at wide receiver … Ranks second on the team in receptions (46) and receiving yards (502) … Tied for second on the team in touchdown receptions (4) … Was the only Yellow Jacket with a catch in every game of the season … Caught multiple passes in 12-of-13 games and had at least three receptions in 10-of-13 contests … Opened the season with five receptions for a career-high 85 yards against Louisville (Sept. 1) … Hauled in five more catches for 60 yards against South Carolina State (Sept. 9) … Had a season-high-tying six receptions for 67 yards, including a 15-yard touchdown catch, against Bowling Green (Sept. 30) … Made perhaps his biggest catch of the season when he pulled in a 30-yard pass from QB Haynes King to set up King’s 44-yard touchdown pass to Chase Lane with one second remaining in the Yellow Jackets’ 23-20 win at Miami (Fla.) (Oct. 7) … Rutherford’s acrobatic catch near the Georgia Tech sideline was part of a four-play, 74-yard game-winning TD drive that came after the Jackets recovered a fumble at their own 26 yard line with just 26 seconds remaining in the game .. Matched his season and career high with six catches for 83 yards, including a pair of second-quarter touchdowns (42 and 14 yards) to help lead Tech to a 46-42 win over No. 17 North Carolina (Oct. 28) … Carried the ball three times over the final two games of the regular season, with one rush for 2 yards against Syracuse (Nov. 18) and two carries for 15 yards against No. 1 Georgia (Nov. 25) … Hauled in a 41-yard touchdown pass with 56 seconds to go in the first half of the Union Mortgage Gasparilla Bowl vs. UCF (Dec. 22), which knotted the game at 17-17 going into halftime and helped lift the Yellow Jackets to an eventual 30-17 victory.

2022 (Redshirt Freshman): Saw action in all 12 games, making one start against then-No. 13 North Carolina (Nov. 19) … Ranked fourth overall on the team in receptions (23) and receiving yards (225) … Caught four passes for 52 yards against then-No. 17 Ole Miss (Sept. 17) … Followed that up with two receptions for 31 yards at UCF (Sept. 24) … Caught two passes for 33 yards vs. Miami (Nov. 12) …  Hauled in a season-best six receptions for 68 yards in the huge 21-17 road win over UNC … Finished the season off with three receptions for 14 yards at then-No. 1 Georgia (Nov. 26).

2021 (Freshman): Saw action in three games as a true freshman — vs. Kennesaw State (Sept. 11), vs. Pitt (Oct. 2) and at Duke (Oct. 9) … Recorded five receptions for 62 yards on the season, all against eventual ACC champion Pitt.

High School: Rated as a three-star prospect by Rivals, 247Sports and ESPN … Tabbed as the No. 66-ranked wide receiver in the nation and the No. 75-ranked player in the state of Florida by Rivals … A Sports Illustrated all-America candidate as a senior in 2020 … Helped lead Champagnat Catholic to three-straight Florida 2A state football championship game appearances – team finished as runner-up in 2018, then won back-to-back state titles in 2019 and 2020 … First-team all-Dade County selection as a junior and senior and second-team all-Dade honoree as a sophomore … Recorded more than 30 catches for over 500 yards and at least seven touchdowns as a senior … Despite missing two games as a junior, averaged 18.5 yards per catch while amassing 1,057 all-purpose yards and eight total touchdowns … Coached by Hector Clavijo.
