Nott was one of the first players to advance on the day, as he defeated Campbell’s Martin Parkes in the round of 32 in straight sets. He won the first set with ease, 6-0, before winning a tiebreaker in the second set to claim the match 7-6 (2). In the round of 16, Nott disposed of Virginia’s Darrin Cohen in straight sets.
