On day one of the Yellow Jacket Invitational the Georgia Tech track and field team saw Hannah Petit run a personal-best mark in the 5000-meter event at the Griffin Track and Field Facility on Friday night.
Petit finished in 7th with a personal-best mark of 18:05.12. Rebecca Dow also ran well finishing in 12th with a time of 18:19.88.
Day two of the Yellow Jacket Invitational will begin tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. with the men’s and women’s shot put.

Hannah Petit: 18:05.12, 7th, career-mark
Rebecca Dow: 18:19.88, 12th
5000 Meter Men:
Jude Augustine: 16:01.14, 12th
