Person Heads to NCAA Championships

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech men’s track standout Montrell Person will get a chance to repeat his All-America performance from last year in the 110-meter high hurdles as he received an invitation to the 2005 Outdoor NCAA Track & Field Championships, announced on Wednesday.

The national championship meet is scheduled to run from June 8-11, in Sacramento, Calif.

Person, a senior from Merriville, Ind., qualified for the outdoor NCAA meet with a third-place finish in the 110m hurdles at the NCAA East Region Championships. He currently holds the nation’s eighth best time with a mark of 13.71.
