THE FLATS – With Training Camp beginning next week, Georgia Tech head football coach Paul Johnson will spend Monday at the ESPN studios in Bristol, Conn., to help preview the 2014 college season.
Johnson will be at ESPN’s headquarters Monday (July 28) and will appear on multiple shows across ESPN’s family of television, radio and online networks. Be sure to follow the Jackets’ official Twitter account (@GTAthletics) to get an inside look at Coach Johnson’s day.
Johnson and six other ACC head coaches will go from show to show from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. as part of what has become known as ESPN’s “Car Wash.”

The other ACC head coaches joining Johnson in Bristol Monday: Florida State’s Jimbo Fisher, Louisville’s Bobby Petrino, Syracuse’s Scott Shafer, Pittsburgh’s Paul Chryst, North Carolina’s Larry Fedora and Virginia’s Mike London. Seven other ACC coaches visit ESPN’s studios July 29th.
Georgia Tech reports Wednesday, July 30th for Training Camp, with the first practice of the 2014 season set for July 31.
