Parker Named Director of Compliance

ATLANTA–Paul Parker, a member of the NCAA staff as Assistant Director for Membership Services since 2002, has been named Director of Compliance for the Georgia Tech Athletic Association.

Parker, who will officially begin his duties at Georgia Tech on Jan. 30, replaces Jennifer Condaras, who left Tech to become Director of Compliance for the Big East Conference.

Before joining the NCAA staff, Parker served as Assistant Athletics Director for Compliance and Marketing at Southwest Baptist University from 1999-02.

He previously spent three years (1996-99) as Director of Compliance and Home Game Operations at Virginia Military Institute, where he also served an internship in 1994-96.

Parker, from Cochran, Ga., is a graduate of Georgia Southern University, where he earned a B.S. degree in sports management in 1992 as well as an M.S. in sport administration in 1996. He also served in the Eagles athletics department as athletics marketing associate (1992-94).

Parker is married to the former Heather Hayes.
