Pair of Top-Three Finishes for Kidd at Penn State Invitational

UNIVERSITY PARK, Penn. – Senior Ashlee Kidd ran NCAA provisional times in both the women’s 200- and 400-meter dashes at the Penn State National Open on Saturday.

Kidd, a senior from St. Petersburg, Fla., finished third in the women’s 200 with a season- and team-best time of 23.44. She placed second in the 400 with another season- and team-best time of 53.22.

Tiffany Grant, a freshman from Ocean, N.J., crossed the line seventh in the 400 invite race with a personal-best time of 55.47. She also placed 13th with a personal-best time of 24.96 in the 200 dash.

The Yellow Jackets will compete in the Meyo Invitational, Feb. 2-3, in South Bend, Ind., on the campus of Notre Dame.
