#Overtime with Marcus Georges-Hunt

THE FLATS – A model Georgia Tech student-athlete who takes his basketball, academics and family seriously, Marcus Georges-Hunt has started all but one game in his career and has improved statistically each season in most every category.

A member of the ACC All-Academic team each year at Tech, Georges-Hunt became the 43rd player in Tech history to reach 1,000 career points Jan. 31 against NC State. He now stands in 39th place with 1,079 points.

Georges-Hunt is a veteran of 89 career starts in a Tech uniform. He currently leads the team in scoring with a career-best 13.8 points per game, which ranks 14th in the ACC, and 14.6 points in ACC games. He also is working on career bests in rebound average (5.7 per game), free throw percentage (77.4 percent, 9th in the ACC) and steals (1.36 per game).
