No. 25 Women's Basketball Downs Miami In OT, 80-73

ATLANTA (AP) – Brigitte Ardossi had 29 points and a career-high 17 rebounds to lead No. 25 Georgia Tech to an 80-73 overtime victory over Miami on Wednesday night.

Alex Montgomery added 17 points for the Yellow Jackets (17-5, 3-3 ACC), who fell behind 13-0 to start the game. Sasha Goodlett had 14 points and 13 rebounds, and Deja Foster contributed 11 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists.

Shenise Johnson had 20 points for Miami (14-6, 2-4) and forced overtime on two free throws with 4.2 seconds left after Georgia Tech had gone up 62-56 with 2:13 remaining in regulation. Riquna Williams scored 19 for the Hurricanes.

Miami jumped all over Georgia Tech scoring the first 13 points of the game, including a four-point play by Williams. The Hurricanes led 24-9 before going cold and the Yellow Jackets closed to 28-26 at the half.
