>> Tech defeated Kennesaw State earlier this season, 11-5, at Russ Chandler Stadium on Feb. 29 and now leads the all-time series 13-4 that dates back to 1987. The Jackets are 8-2 in the last 10 games, but all-time just 2-3 versus the Owls at Stillwell Stadium and have dropped the last two games there.

>> Junior Sam Dove continues to pace the offense with his .389 average, which is fourth-best in the ACC. Dove, who leads the ACC with 44 hits, has a team-high 14 multi-hit games this season. Dove and Daniel Palka are the only two Jackets to start every game this season.

>> Freshman RHP Cole Pitts makes his second-consecutive midweek start (fourth this season). He is coming off a six-inning outing versus Georgia Southern last week (5 hits, three runs, two walks, eight strikeouts), as he improved to 3-1.

>> The Jackets are 4-3 in midweek games this season, and have already won a three-game season series from Georgia Southern.
