WAKE FOREST, N.C. – Georgia Tech women’s tennis rebounded after dropping the doubles point at Wake Forest to sweep singles and top the No. 29 Demon Deacons 6-1 on Sunday. With the win, No. 10 Tech improved to 19-2 overall and 9-0 in ACC play.

SINGLES PLAY: After dropping the doubles point, Tech would need to win on four singles courts to take the match. The Jackets swept all six singles matches to clinch the win. QUOTABLE: “Today was a tough match. Wake Forest outplayed us in doubles, but our team showed a lot of resiliency in singles. We played very well in all six singles matches. Now we have a little time to take a break, get back home and prepare for a tough match against Virginia on Sunday.” – Head Coach Rodney Harmon

UP NEXT: The Jackets return to the courts hosting Virginia on Sunday, April 9. First serve at the Ken Byers Tennis Complex is slated for 11 a.m.
