THE FLATS – No. 10 Georgia Tech volleyball (15-4, 8-2 ACC) will begin a four-match road stint in The Triangle this weekend, traveling to North Carolina (13-8, 5-5 ACC) for a Friday contest at 6 p.m. in Chapel Hill, N.C. before sliding over to NC State (11-10, 5-5 ACC) on Sunday for a 1 p.m. matchup in Raleigh, N.C. to wrap up the weekend.

- Tech owns 12 sweeps on the year, including seven in the ACC, after picking up a pair last weekend over Boston College and Syracuse.

- Senior outside hitter Julia Bergmann is currently second in the NCAA in kills per set (5.27) and points per set (5.92) as she continues to lead the ACC in both. She also leads the conference in total kills (337) and points (379), sitting inside the top 20 in the country in each category.
- The decorated attacker continues to climb deeper into the Tech record books as she eclipsed 1,500 career kills against Boston College last weekend, currently ranking ninth in program history with 1,530.
- The vaunted Yellow Jacket is also fifth all time in career aces as she surpassed 150 in the same match, owning 151 to date.
- Bergmann is up to seven 20+ kill outings this season, four of which have come against ranked opponents.
- Bergmann added her seventh double double of the season behind 18 kills, 10 digs, five blocks and two aces in her stellar outing against Boston College. The vaunted Yellow Jacket is now up to eight double-digit dig matches this season.
- Graduate middle blocker Breland Morrissette joins Bergmann with one of the top marks in the country, currently ranking second in the ACC and 14th in the NCAA in hitting percentage (.409).
- Junior setter Bella D’Amico has run Tech’s formidable attack this season as one of the best setters in the league, sitting in fifth in the conference in assists per set (9.86).
- Going beyond 2019’s NIVC title, Tech has won 73 of its last 89 matches.
- Over the course of the past four seasons, Georgia Tech is 45-6 at home in O’Keefe Gymnasium. Tech is 304-103 (.747) all time in O’Keefe Gymnasium’s 28-year history.
Series History
- Tech currently trails North Carolina 38-29 in the all-time series. The Jackets have won the last three matchups, including a sweep on The Flats a season ago. The White and Gold also hold the advantage at home, leading the series 18-14 on The Flats.
- Georgia Tech leads NC State 47-20 in all-time matches, claiming the last five contests, three of which were sweeps. The Yellow Jackets own the longest win streak of the series after earning 21 straight victories from 2000-10. Tech leads the series 25-8 at home, 18-11 on the road and 4-1 in neutral matches.
