Georgia Tech’s Student-Athlete Advisory Board (SAAB) kicks off the 26th-annual Michael Isenhour Toy Drive in November. The Tickets for Toys campaign will feature special ticket offers for select Georgia Tech football and basketball games, with $5 from every qualifying ticket purchase benefiting the Michael Isenhour Toy Drive. The participating games include women’s basketball vs. UgA (Nov. 18), men’s basketball vs. UgA (Nov. 20), and football vs. Wake Forest (Nov. 21). Through the initiative, fans can cheer on the Yellow Jackets while helping make the holiday season brighter for children in the community.

Last year, the Michael Isenhour Toy Drive raised a reported $15,000, marking the highest total in the initiative’s history. This season, Georgia Tech Athletics hopes to surpass that mark and set a new fundraising record through the generosity of Yellow Jackets fans and the surrounding community.
Fans can also support the effort by making a direct donation to the Michael Isenhour Toy Drive online by clicking here.
The Michael Isenhour Toy Drive was founded in 2001 by Georgia Tech men’s basketball student-athlete Michael Isenhour, whose inspiration was to assist families impacted by the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001. Isenhour, who was battling leukemia when he started the toy drive, passed away in 2002. SAAB renamed the toy drive in his honor to create an enduring legacy in memory of their fellow student-athlete.
