Georgia Tech opens the final month of the regular season with a primetime home matchup versus Louisville.
Saturday's game is just the fifth all-time matchup between Georgia Tech and Louisville, and only the second to be played at Tech's Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field
In the only previous matchup at Bobby Dodd Stadium on Oct. 9, 2020, Tech trailed 21-14 at halftime and 27-26 going into the fourth quarter, but the Yellow Jackets scored 20 unanswered points in the final period to win going away, 46-27.
All four of the previous meetings between the Jackets and Cardinals (2018, 2020, 2023 and 2024) have come since Louisville joined the ACC in 2014.
Georgia Tech is playing at night (7 p.m. or later, local time) for the fifth time in nine games this season. The Yellow Jackets' five night games are tied for the third-most in the ACC this season, behind only Miami (Fla.) and Clemson, who have six apiece (including this week).
The Yellow Jackets, which have dropped three-straight, are looking to avoid their first-ever four-game skid under head coach Brent Key. The Jackets haven't lost four in a row since 2021, the season before Key took the reins as interim head coach.
TE Kevin Roche, Jr.'s 35 receptions this season are the most by a Georgia Tech tight end in 58 years. With four games to go, Roche needs only 10 receptions to break Tech's TE record of 44, set by Joel Stevenson in 1968.
