2026-27 Men’s Basketball Promotional Schedule Unveiled

Fans treated to giveaways and theme nights throughout the season in The Thrillerdome

THE FLATS – With the 2026-27 Georgia Tech men’s basketball season just around the corner, fans will be treated to several exciting events and giveaways throughout the season as the promotional schedule was unveiled on Tuesday.

The fun begins with Tech’s season-opener on November 3 when the Yellow Jackets welcome Hampton to The Thrillerdome and all fans can receive a ‘Take the Stair’s rally towel to promote head coach Scott Cross’ mantra. In a highly anticipated ‘Clean, Old Fashioned Hate’ matchup on Nov. 20, THWg rally towels will be on site, as well as replica Reck Flag pennants for fans. Fans can then celebrate the holiday season with Georgia Tech themed ornaments on Dec. 9 when The Citadel visits Atlanta. As the Jackets transition to Atlantic Coast Conference play, Georgia Tech scarves will be distributed on Feb. 16 against Clemson.

Major theme nights include Buzz and Friends Day (Alcorn State on Nov. 28) when Buzz’s mascot friends join in the fun to celebrate Georgia Tech basketball with Blooper, Bluey, Paw Patrol and more in attendance. Buzz will also take holiday photos pregame. Theme nights will also include a Greek Game (NC State on Jan. 19) and Wizarding Game (Clemson on Feb. 16). Additionally, when Louisville comes to town on Jan. 30, the contest will serve as Tech’s annual Suits and Sneakers game, as well as it’s Whiteout and First Responders Appreciation game. Georgia Tech will recognize its senior class during its final regular season home game on March 6 against Virginia Tech, which also will serve as its Military Appreciation Game.

In addition to the giveaways and theme nights, Georgia Tech students will be treated to several giveaways which include navy t-shirts (Nov. 9 vs. Alcorn State), long sleeve t-shirts (Dec. 9 vs. The Citadel), a Reck Brick Set (Jan. 19 vs. NC State), an exclusive Whiteout t-shirt (Jan. 30 vs. Louisville) and gold t-shirts on Feb. 3 vs. Stanford.
