THE FLATS – Georgia Tech volleyball (8-3, 0-0 ACC) comes off a four-match road stand to open ACC play on The Flats against Virginia Tech (3-6, 0-0 ACC) on Friday and Virginia (4-5, 0-0 ACC) on Saturday.

The ER66 Family Housing Deck will be available to fans for each match ($). Parking attendants will open the Family Housing Deck three hours prior to first serve for each match.
Storylines
- The Yellow Jackets most recently wrapped up their non-conference slate with a Saturday night rivalry match in Athens, Ga. against UgA.
- Alida Bennour was nothing short of exceptional on Saturday night as she finished the match with 21 kills, two aces, three blocks, and 11 digs.
- Her 21 kills were not only a new career high but also the first time a Yellow Jacket has surpassed 18+ kills this season so far. Bennour owns four of Tech’s of the top-five kill performances of the season with 17 kills against Loyola, 16 kills against Oklahoma and another 16 kills against the No. 1 Huskers.
- The right side’s 21 kills combined with her 11 digs also earned Bennour her third career double-double.
- Heloise Soares earned her third double-double of season, 15th of her career, with 41 assists and 11 digs.
- The senior’s 41 assists marked her 18th career match recording 40 or more assists as a Yellow Jacket.
- Headed into conference play, Tech sits seventh in the ACC with an 8-3 overall record. The Jackets also sit fifth for opponent kills, holding their opponents to less than 12 kills per set on average (11.59).
- Tech also leads the ACC for opponent digs per set (10.82) while being just second for service aces with 76 total and an average of 1.95 aces per set.
- The Jackets continue to receive votes in the weekly AVCA poll, despite still remaining outside the top-25 rankings.
- After selling out the Tuesday night ACC/SEC Challenge match against Oklahoma earlier this season, Tech has seen 61 consecutive sold out matches at O’Keefe Gymnasium, extending a streak dating back to the 2021 season.
Series Notes
- Tech enters Friday’s match leading the overall series against Virginia Tech, 22-10, including a 10-3 winning record when hosting on The Flats.
- In their 2025 meeting, the Yellow Jackets swept the Hokies including a 25-16 first set win. Sophomore Anna Fiedorowicz helped led Tech’s offense with nine kills alongside.
- Tech enters Sunday’s match leading the overall series against Virginia, 44-22, including a 21-10 winning record when playing in O’Keefe.
- Last season, the Yellow Jackets downed the Cavaliers, 3-2, with Tech taking the match winning set 15-5.
- Against UVA last season, Garibaldi was a stunner on defense as she tied the modern scoring era record for solo blocks in a single match with a career high four solo blocks. The record hadn’t been touched since Kodie Comby recorded four solo blocks against Coastal Carolina in 2016.

Tech volleyball’s annual McCamish Match is set to return with twice the action as the Yellow Jackets will take on No. 2 Pitt, presented by Solomon Brothers and No. 8 SMU, presented by Delta. Tickets are priced as follows for the ranked matches:
