Jackets Visit Atlanta Children's Day Shelter

Georgia Tech men’s basketball spent time in the Atlanta community last week, serving at the Atlanta Children’s Day Shelter. During the course of the morning, the team was divided into multiple groups to help organize materials, including arts and crafts, toys, and children essentials, and then transitioned to spending time with the children outside.

The Atlanta Children’s Day Shelter is celebrating its 40^th anniversary this year. The nonprofit organization is dedicated to supporting families facing homelessness and has served over 5,000 families and cared for nearly 8,000 children since its inception.
