Baseball Announces 2026 Fall Schedule

The Jackets will play Clemson on The Flats on Oct. 31

THE FLATS Georgia Tech Baseball and second-year Head Coach James Ramsey have announced the 2026 Fall schedule. The Yellow Jackets, coming off a 2026 ACC regular season and tournament championship, will host Atlantic Coast Conference foe Clemson at Mac Nease Baseball Park at Russ Chandler Stadium on Halloween (Oct. 31) at 1 pm while also playing two exhibition contests at minor league ballparks, first on Oct. 17 against Alabama in Pensacola, Fla. and again on Nov. 8 against Tennessee from Chattanooga, Tenn.

This is the first chance for Jacket fans to see the 2027 squad in action as GT look to build off the momentum built in the first year of Head Coach James Ramsey’s tenure. On offense, the Jackets return the home run leader from a lineup that set the new school record for home runs in a season in third baseman Ryan Zuckerman as well as veterans Kent Schmidt, Caleb Daniel and Will Baker. On the mound, Tech returns weekend starters Jackson Blakely and Carson Ballard as well as standout bullpen arms Caden Gaudette and Dylan Loy among others. The returning group will be bolstered by Top 10 Portal Class according to Baseball America, sure to keep Coach Ramsey and the Yellow Jackets with their sights set on championships in the 2027 season.

Full Steam Ahead

Full Steam Ahead is a $500 million fundraising initiative to achieve Georgia Tech athletics’ goal of competing for championships at the highest level in the next era of intercollegiate athletics. The initiative will fund transformative projects for Tech athletics, including renovations of Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field (the historic home of Georgia Tech football), the Zelnak Basketball Center (the practice and training facility for Tech basketball) and O’Keefe Gymnasium (the venerable home of Yellow Jackets volleyball), as well as additional projects and initiatives to further advance Georgia Tech athletics through program wide-operational support.
