Georgia Tech Night at Truist Park Set for August 12

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech Night returns to Truist Park on Wednesday, August 12 as the Atlanta Braves host the New York Mets. First pitch is set for 7:15 p.m. 

In addition to watching the National League East Division-leading Braves, fans can enjoy pregame festivities including the opportunity to take photos with the 2026 ACC Baseball regular season and tournament trophies. Fans can visit the trophies and Buzz, as well as watch a pregame performance from the Georgia Tech cheerleaders in The Battery Plaza and catch the Ramblin’ Wreck outside the Coca-Cola Roxy. The Battery Plaza is located outside of the right field gate at Truist Park. 

A chance to win tickets to Georgia Tech football’s 2026 season opener vs. Colorado (Thursday, Sept. 3) will also be available. Pregame activations will be live from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

Full Steam Ahead 

Full Steam Ahead is a $500 million fundraising initiative to achieve Georgia Tech athletics’ goal of competing for championships at the highest level in the next era of intercollegiate athletics. The initiative will fund transformative projects for Tech athletics, including renovations of Bobby Dodd Stadium at Hyundai Field (the historic home of Georgia Tech football), the Zelnak Basketball Center (the practice and training facility for Tech basketball) and O’Keefe Gymnasium (the venerable home of Yellow Jackets volleyball), as well as additional projects and initiatives to further advance Georgia Tech athletics through program wide-operational support.
