THE FLATS – Carol Lee was named first-team all-Atlantic Coast Conference on Thursday, leading a quartet of Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets who received all-ACC selections, as announced by the league office. In addition, Kylie Bilchev, Ava Hrastar and Kate Sharabura were named to the all-ACC third team.
The four selections for Georgia Tech are the most since 2017 and tied for second in the ACC behind North Carolina (5). Duke and NC State each placed four on the all-ACC teams.
Compiling a 25-8 overall singles record and 22-6 overall doubles mark, Lee led the Yellow Jackets from the No. 1 positions. In singles action, the sophomore went 16-5 from the No. 1 spot and compiled an 8-5 record against league opponents. She climbed as high as No. 22 in the ITA national singles rankings and earned an at-large bid to the NCAA Championships. She finished the season with an 11-8 record against ranked opponents.
