THE FLATS – Georgia Tech baseball continued to be represented in the 2019 Major League Baseball Draft on Wednesday when three student-athletes were selected on the third day on Wednesday.
Junior Chase Murray was selected in the 13th round (No. 394 overall) by the Pittsburgh Pirates, junior Amos Willingham was selected in the 17th round (No. 513 overall) by the Washington Nationals and draft-eligible sophomore Luke Waddell heard his name in the 32nd round (No. 962 overall) by the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Joining the four selected yesterday, the seven total Yellow Jackets selected in the MLB Draft is the most since 2013.
