Fans will need to adhere to the following procedures to guarantee themselves one of Price replica jerseys:
- Upon arrival, the first 1,000 fans (general public & students) will receive a voucher for a replica jersey
- Staff will be stationed at all three gates distributing the vouchers. If you don’t receive a voucher, please ask event personnel before you enter the arena.
- Your voucher will specify a jersey size (ability to pick your size on a first come, first served basis). Adult sizes small and medium will be at Section 103. Adult sizes large and extra large will be at section 115.
- If you have a voucher, you are guaranteed a jersey. Fans without vouchers will not be able to claim a jersey. You can only claim a jersey for the size listed on your voucher.
- There are two areas inside McCamish to redeem your voucher at section 103 (small and medium) and section 115 (large and extra large)
- You must have a voucher to redeem for a jersey (limit one per person).
- You must pick up your jersey by the end of the first half.
Price, from Enid, Okla., was part of the core group of players recruited by Cremins that produced the Yellow Jackets’ first Atlantic Coast Conference in 1985 and NCAA Tournament appearances in his final two seasons. Price led the ACC in scoring as a freshman (20.3 ppg) and finished his career with 2,193 points, which ranks third all-time in Yellow Jacket annals. He remains No. 8 in career scoring average, No. 7 in assists and No. 1 in steals.
A four-time All-ACC performer and a first-team All-American as a junior and senior, Price had his No. 25 jersey retired along with John Salley’s No. 22 at their final home game in 1986. He went on to an all-star career in the NBA, most of which was spent with the Cleveland Cavaliers, who also retired his No. 25 jersey.
