THE FLATS – To celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Georgia Tech athletics will host a fan day and autograph session with its women’s teams on Thursday, Feb. 2 in O’Keefe Gymnasium ahead of the women’s basketball versus NC State game at 8 p.m.
The NGWSD fan experience will take place from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on the court at O’Keefe Gymnasium, home to Georgia Tech volleyball. The fan day will include:
- Opportunity to interact with student-athletes from women’s cross country, softball, spirit, women’s swimming and diving, women’s tennis, women’s track and field and volleyball;
- Autograph sessions;
- Interactive games;
- Opportunity to learn and perform a cheer routine with Georgia Tech cheerleaders and Goldrush.
Admission is FREE to the NGWSD fan experience in O’Keefe Gymnasium. Children (ages 18 and under) in attendance to the fan day experience will receive free admission to the women’s basketball game that night versus NC State at 8 p.m.
Parking will be available for fans attending NGWSD fan day in the Family Housing Deck, located on 10th street.
