Morgan, Threet Enroll at Tech

Two of the nation’s top high school football prospects, quarterback Steven Threet of Adrian (Mich.) High School and defensive end Derrick Morgan of Coatesville (Pa.) High have enrolled at Georgia Tech for the spring semester and will participate in spring practice with the Yellow Jackets.

A member of the Rivals 100, Morgan is rated the No. 1 prospect in the state of Pennsylvania as well as the nation’s No. 6 strongside defensive end and No. 70 player overall. Scout.com ranks Morgan the No. 12 defensive end in the nation.

Threet is rated the No. 9 quarterback in the nation by Rivals and the No. 12 signal caller nationally by Scout.com. Rivals also ranks him as the No. 12 prospect in Michigan.

Tech beings spring practice on March 1 and continues through April 7. The Yellow Jackets return 17 starters after posting a 9-5 record and playing in their 10th straight bowl game.
