Miller Leads Jackets on Day Two of Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Freshman Jerome Miller cleared the bar at 6 feet, 9.50 inches, to lead the Georgia Tech men’s track and field team at the Penn Relays on Friday with a sixth-place finish in the high jump.

Senior Montrell Person finished third in his heat of the 110-meter high hurdles with a time of 13.98.

In the women’s 100m hurdles, freshman Shantia Moss finished second in heat three with a time of 13.51, while senior Dana Rogers clocked a time of 13.61 to finish third in heat one.

Senior Holt McPherson tallied a ninth-place finish in the men’s long jump with a mark of 22 feet, 9.25 inches. Junior Brandy Depland posted a mark of 40 feet, 1.75 inches, in the women’s triple jump to finish in 13th place.
