Athens, Ga. – Georgia Tech’s weekend at the Bulldog Scramble ended with a thud Sunday, as the Yellow Jackets failed to win a match in six tries in singles and doubles.
Tech began the weekend by winning eight of 11 singles matches Friday, but prevailed in only two of nine Saturday and went 0-for-4 Sunday.
Dusan Miljevic and Ryan Smith earned the Jackets’ only doubles victory in eight matches on the weekend. Sophomore Magin Ortiga finished the weekend with three wins in singles to lead Tech.
Tech’s fall season is finished. The Yellow Jackets will begin their spring season Jan. 16 with a dual match against USC Upstate.
