THE FLATS – In the latest ITA Division I Men’s Tennis Rankings, three members of the Georgia Tech men’s tennis team earns spots on the singles and doubles list.
No. 9 Andres Martin, No. 70 Keshav Chopra and No. 78 Marcus McDaniel have represented Tech in the rankings for nearly the entire spring season.
Martin maintained his spot as the No 9 singles player as he has produced consistent success for the Jackets. The junior is 20-5 in dual match play with 14 victories over nationally-ranked opponents.
Chopra and McDaniel join Martin as some of Tech’s top performers this season. The two juniors have both won 17 or more matches during the spring season. Chopra is currently on a four-match winning streak.
Tech has two doubles teams that been successful this season. Despite not playing together recently, No. 28 Martin and McDaniel still hold 10-6 overall record in dual match play.
No. 45 Martin and Chopra started playing together in the second part of conference play this season. The duo is undefeated, winning all four matches that they have played together.
