Collegiate Baseball‘s Fabulous 40 2018 Preseason Poll
TEMPE, Arizona – The Yellow Jackets were ranked No. 29 in the Collegiate Baseball Fabulous 40 NCAA Division I 2018 preseason poll, released Tuesday. Defending national champion Florida is the preseason top-ranked team, while Oregon State, Arkansas, Florida State and Texas Tech rounded out the top five.
The Atlantic Coast Conference had a total of eight teams ranked in Collegiate Baseball’s preseason poll in No. 4 Florida State, No. 7 North Carolina, No. 15 Clemson, No. 16 Virginia, No. 20 Miami (Fla.), No. 21 Louisville, No. 23 NC State and the Jackets at No. 29.
The Yellow Jackets open the 2018 season against Minnesota on Feb. 16 at Russ Chandler Stadium.
