ATLANTA – Georgia Tech’s basketball team opened preseason practice Friday night with heavy emphasis on defense and conditioning drills. The Yellow Jackets are coming off a 20-12 season and their third NCAA Tournament appearance in four years. Tech has three starters and nine letterwinners back, including senior forward Jeremis Smith, senior guard Anthony Morrow and junior guard Lewis Clinch.
