Jackets Finish Third Day at National Collegiate Tennis Championships

Top-seeded Amanda Fink and Gabriela Niculescu stopped Georgia Tech’s Noelle Hickey and Christy Striplin, 8-3, and Sasha Krupina fell, 6-3, 3-6, 6-4 to UCLA’s Elizabeth Lumpkin in the Yellow Jackets’ only singles match on the third day of the National Collegiate Tennis Championships.

The National Collegiate Tennis Championships, which are being contested at the prestigious Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, Calif., was Tech’s final tournament prior to the start of the Yellow Jackets’ dual-match season. Tech will open the year at Auburn on Wednesday.
