TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Georgia Tech softball (31-27) fell in the quarterfinal of the 2019 ACC Softball Championship 7-0 to host No. 5/6 Florida State (49-8) on Thursday evening to conclude the 2019 season.
Making it to postseason for the second straight season, the Jackets recorded their first ACC tournament win since 2012 on Wednesday with an 8-0 run rule win over Virginia before falling in the quarterfinal. Tech reached the 30-win mark for the first time since the 2012 season and finished above .500 for the second straight season under head coach Aileen Morales.
