Jackets Fall at #16 Georgia

ATHENS, Ga.ย – Georgia Tech softball (27-20, 8-7 ACC) dropped Wednesday’s road contest 7-0 to No. 16 Georgia (31-14). Tech’s lone hit was a double off the bat of sophomoreย Tricia Awald.

 

Tech turns a double play to end the first inning but not before the Bulldogs put one across the plate to lead 1-0.

Awald breaks up the no hitter in the top of the fifth with a double to right center.

Tech heads to Louisville for an Atlantic Coast Conference weekend series. Game one kicks off on Friday, April 19 with a 6 p.m. first pitch on ACC Network Extra.
