BLACKSBURG, Va. (AP) Kammeon Holsey scored all 13 points of his points in the first half to lift Georgia Tech to a 64-54 victory over Virginia Tech on Saturday.

Marcus Georges-Hunt added 13 for the Yellow Jackets (13-9, 3-7 Atlantic Coast Conference), who won a road game for the first time this season and won in Blacksburg for the first time.

In the first half, the Yellow Jackets opened a 22-point lead against the cold-shooting Hokies, who missed 12 of their first 13 shots and 20 of their first 23. Georgia Tech led 37-18 at halftime.

Virginia Tech (11-12, 2-8), which lost for the sixth straight time, cut the lead to 60-52 on a runner by Erick Green with 31.6 seconds left, but the Hokies got no closer.

Green, who led the nation in scoring at 25.2 points per game coming in, paced Virginia Tech with 28 points.
