Hamilton-Carter Scores 19 in Win over Germany

Danielle Hamilton-Carter continued her solid tournament with 19 points in only 23 minutes of action to lead the U20 Swedish National Team to a 67-64 victory over Germany Friday in Grobiņa, Latvia.

Hamilton-Carter and her Swedish teammates, who lost to Germany on Monday, 84-57, are now 2-2 in the Group G classification round.

Frida Fogdemark, an incoming freshman for the Yellow Jackets, played 31 minutes and finished with seven points and a team-high 12 rebounds in the victory.

Sweden will next look to upend the 4-0 Romanian team Saturday in Grobiņa.
