Hall of Fame Dinner Sold Out

ATLANTA – Georgia Tech’s annual Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner, scheduled for Friday, Oct. 6, at the Georgia Tech Hotel and Conference Center, is sold out, and no more orders for tickets can be accepted.

The number of attendees for the dinner reached the ballroom capacity of 480 guests at the end of last week, and no more can be accommodated.

Slated for induction Friday night are former basketball All-American Travis Best, legendary basketball coach Bobby Cremins, longtime football manager Gus Georgeton, football star Kent Hill, volleyball All-American Cris Leone, basketball standout Karen Russell, baseball pitcher Brad Rigby and track national champion Octavius Terry.

This group also will be honored in a halftime ceremony at Saturday’s Tech football game against Maryland, which kicks off at 3:30 p.m.
