@GTSwimDive: Two Compete at NCAAs on Friday

THE FLATS – Georgia Tech swimmers Youssef Hammoud and Alex Kimpel both competed on Day 3 of the NCAA Men’s Swimming & Diving Championships, and each will compete once again on Saturday. The Jackets are currently in 36th place with five points.

Hammoud finished 36th in the 100 fly with a time of 47.17, while Kimpel finished 42nd in the 100 breast with a time of 54.34. Hammoud will compete in the 100 free, Kimpel will compete in the 200 breast, and diver Brad Homza will compete in the platform competition on Saturday.

Saturday’s prelims will begin at 10 a.m. ET, and live streaming is available at www.atlantaswimming.com/Webcast. Saturday’s finals are available for viewing on ESPN3.
