#GTSB In The Dugout: is a Q&A series looking at the 2015 Georgia Tech softball team. Each weekday leading up to the beginning of the softball season on Feb. 6, a new #GTSB player will be released giving @GaTechSoftball fans a chance to get to know their favorite players.

This edition of #GTSB In The Dugout features freshman outfielder Malea Bell.

Name: Malea Bell
Hometown: Kennesaw, Ga.
High School: Kennesaw Mountain HS
Major: Business administration

What I did this summer was: I played travel softball around the country.

Wat I’m going to bring to the field this season is: I’m hoping to bring motivation.

On Twitter, my favorite person to follow is: @GaTechSoftball.

The app I use the most is: Pandora.

I have to admit, I’m really good at: Cooking.

What I’m looking forward to most this season is: Competing on the field with my teammates.

If I were stranded on a desert island, I’d bring: Water, my best friends and matches (or a lighter).

What’s one thing you wish you were better at: Running.

The best advice I ever received was: “Everything happens for a reason” – from my mom
