Godsey and Walker Win College Football All-Star Challenge

Georgia Tech’s George Godsey and Florida State’s Javon Walker from Lafayette (St. Thomas More High School) teamed to win the Capital One College Football All-Star Challenge on Thursday, January 31st at Zephyr Field.

This event tested accuracy, speed, agility, mobility, and strength of the participants in four separate competitions. The four events were the Quick Delivery, Obstacle Rush, Air and Ground Challenge, and the Aerial Assault.

The team of Antwaan Randle El (Indiana) and Andre Davis (Virginia Tech) tied with the team of Josh Reed (LSU) and Patrick Ramsey (Tulane) for second place. Kurt Kittner (Illinois) and DeShaun Foster (UCLA) tied for fourth with the team of Travis Stephens (Tennessee) and Woody Dantzler (Clemson).

The All-Star Challenge will air on national television on FOX, Saturday, February 2nd from 3:30-4:30 Eastern with Kenny Albert, Bill Maas, and Daryl Johnston providing the commentary.
